Hat Trick Win for Müller at Product of the Year Awards!

Müller Dairy has swept the board at the Product of the Year 2014 awards, with an incredible THREE category wins!

Müllerlight Turkish Delight flavour, Müller de Luxe Corner and Kids Corner Lots of Love have all been awarded the prestigious Product of the Year in the UK and ROI title in their respective categories. The brands beat off stiff competition to take home the prizes, giving Müller a trio of award-winning products, as voted for by consumers.

Müllerlight, the winner in the Healthy Yogurt category, is the UK's best loved fat-free yogurt and had a fantastic 2013 with a packaging revamp, designer makeover, and released exciting limited edition flavours and a desserts range all in the last 12 months!

In January this year, the brand share value stood at 15.8%, making it the second biggest brand in Chilled Yogurt and Pot Desserts (CYPD), and delivered a retail value of £15.4m – a record for the Müllerlight brand![1] Scrumptious Turkish Delight flavour started life as a limited edition, but was a runaway success with consumers and is now a permanent addition to the Light lineup.

Müller Corner, the number 1 yogurt brand in the UK, won two accolades – one for its sumptuous de Luxe range, and another for Kids Corner Lots of Love in the Luxury Yogurt and Kids Desserts categories, and both hugely successful launches last year helped to push the growth of Corner back to the top spot in 2013. The brand is now number 1 in the UK, by a margin of over £15m![2]

In the UK & ROI, the Product of the Year seal is backed by the votes of more than 12,000 households, serving as a shortcut for shoppers in the supermarket, saving them time and money.

Müllerlight Turkish Delight flavour yogurt, Müller Corner de Luxe After Dinner Mint and Marc de Champagne, and Müller Kids Corner Lots of Love will display the new Product of the Year logo on pack from the middle of March onwards.

To make its range of dairy products, the company buys milk from more than 1,200 British dairy farmers, all of whom are Red Tractor Farm Assured.

Müller Wiseman Milk Group Dairy members elect a representative farmer board which works with the company to discuss milk supply issues, including the Group’s commitment to maintain a competitive milk price and contractual position.
