Delectable desserts from Müllerlight

Press release   •   Apr 15, 2013 14:56 BST

The nation’s favourite fat free yogurt brand Müllerlight continues its exciting product expansion with a brand new desserts range launching in stores from April 22nd. Delicious, indulgent and all at 99 calories, what more could you want?!

The blissful desserts, available in three wickedly tempting flavours - Mischievous Milk Chocolate, Frivolous Fudge and Wickedly White Chocolate – tap into the increasing trend for delicious after-dinner treats and reduced-calorie decadence.

Michael Inpong, Müller Dairy Marketing and R&D Director says: “Desserts have a huge potential for growth in the Chilled Yogurt and Pot Desserts market. Consumers continue to demand indulgent flavours, creamy textures and treat appeal, but without the guilt factor.

“These delicious Müllerlight Desserts are one of the lowest calorie options in the dessert category and deliver on every angle. As the first Müller-branded products to come out of our recently acquired Minsterley plant, the launch is doubly exciting.”

It is hoped the launch of Müllerlight Desserts will build on the phenomenal success of the Müllerlight brand. As the most successful brand in the category over the past 12 months, with a sales value of £149m[1], Müllerlight registered its highest 4 weekly value share at 15.3% in February 2013. [2] It’s clear that consumers can’t get enough!

Müllerlight Desserts will be available in stores from April 22nd in 4x100g packs with an RRP of £2.19 per pack.
